Where Every Body Belongs

At the Academy of Classical Ballet, inclusion is not just a value—it’s the heart of what we do. Our Boundless Ballet program offers adaptive dance classes for children with disabilities in Campbell, welcoming dancers of all abilities into a supportive, joyful space where every body belongs.

Designed specifically for children and young dancers with a range of physical, cognitive, and developmental needs—including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and more—Boundless Ballet provides a warm, structured environment where all students can thrive.

Classes focus on safe, professional ballet technique, thoughtfully adapted to meet each dancer's individual needs. Our goal is to foster confidence, coordination, and creativity through movement—always with encouragement, never pressure.

Led by Maria Scott, who holds a BA in Dance and Psychology from Gonzaga University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Boundless Ballet is built on both compassion and expertise. Maria trained through the Boston Ballet’s Adaptive Dance Teacher Training Program and has been instrumental in launching and growing Boundless at AOC Ballet.

In addition to weekly classes, dancers have the opportunity to participate in inclusive performances, where they can express themselves artistically —supported by a community that celebrates who they are.

We’re proud to offer inclusive ballet classes in Campbell through a continued partnership with the Campbell Community Center, where all Boundless Ballet classes are held.

"My son, who has moderate to severe physical and cognitive challenges, fully enjoys his "Boundless Ballet" lessons. He eagerly looks forward to coming to class each week. The teachers offer plenty of options for him so that he can experience this class in his own way.  My son has many physical limitations and yet he can participate.  He enjoys the musicality, variety and imaginative nature of the exercises.  And he’s made a friend too.  We highly recommend it!
